With over 30 years of experience, Steve is widely recognized as a thought leader in Total Rewards and Human Resource Technology. His career is distinguished by a consistent track record of transforming global businesses and developing innovative HR products and services.
Before joining GECN Group, Steve held several executive leadership roles. As President and Chief Revenue Officer at uFlexReward, a pioneering HR Total Rewards technology company, he oversaw product development and executed a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy.
Previously, Steve was CEO and President of Associates for International Research (AIRINC), a global leader in expatriate compensation and mobility data. Under his leadership, AIRINC achieved significant revenue growth and operational improvements, culminating in the successful transition of 80% ownership to a new investor.
Earlier in his career, Steve served as Global Leader and Worldwide Partner at Mercer, where he led the firm’s information and software businesses from Geneva, Switzerland. He played a key role in globalizing the business and establishing it as a market leader in HR data and technology. Steve began his career at Towers Perrin, where he led operations and the development of global HR software tools and job evaluation systems.
Education
Steve holds an MS in Economics from the University of North Texas and a BA in Economics from the University of Texas. He is also a long-standing faculty member at WorldatWork, where he co-founded the Business Acumen course and has taught the Compensation Analytics and Insights course (formerly Quantitative Analysis) since 1990.
