May Poon is the Founder and Managing Partner of Pretium Partners. She brings 30 years of consulting experience, advising Boards, Remuneration Committees, and C-suite leaders on strategic human capital issues.

Her deep expertise spans incentive plan design, executive compensation, and the HR integration of mergers and acquisitions and organization transformations. Prior to founding Pretium Partners, May held senior leadership positions with prominent global firms including Aon, Willis Towers Watson, PricewaterhouseCoopers, HSBC, and Dow Chemical.

May holds a master’s degree in Training and HR Management from the University of Leicester (UK) and a bachelor’s degree in Social Science from the University of Hong Kong.

A committed industry educator, May serves as a trainer for the Certificate Programs in Mergers & Acquisitions and International Reward Management with the Institute of Human Resources Management. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
